This version of the Bessa was made shortly after WWII. It can be distinguished from the prewar model by the absence of the brilliant finder.

This camera is fitted with a German made Kodak lens and shutter. It’s not likely that this left the Voigtländer factory this way, I have no reason to think there was cooperation between these different companies. But this fits well, and works well.

Another difference between this camera and my prewar ones is the depth of field table on the back. This is made of a celluloid or plastic material rather than aluminum. It remains very crisp and legible.

There is a dealer label inside from a shop called Photo Klimesch, in Braunschweig.

This camera and lens takes nice sharp photos and I enjoy using this camera.
