This is the second model of Balda Frontbox, with an improved “brilliant” viewfinder versus the flat matte viewfinders of the previous model. I like the nice leather case with strap. The Art Deco inspired ornamentation on this handsome camera is also very appealing to me.

This 1930s camera takes sharp, beautiful photos. I took these in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on Fomapan 100 film. Fomapan 100 is my favorite cheap film but as with everything else, the price has increased in recent years.
