This was the first version of one of my favorite camera models to use. The exterior is covered with black leatherette with impressed lines. This 1926 version was only made in this simple black color. It has a fixed aperture of f/11 and a single portrait orientation viewfinder. This one has held up well over the years. I replaced the viewfinder mirror as the original silvering had perished, and cleaned the lens.

The leather handle on these is essentially useless and often missing.

I took these photos during a winter storm. The simple spring mechanism of the shutter makes these impervious to cold. The film was expired Fomapan 200.

The lack of a landscape orientation viewfinder on these is not a big deal. I just point the camera at the subject and it works well enough.
