I bought this camera on eBay. I asked the seller where it came from and she told me it belonged to a relative who had brought it back from WWII. They had found the camera with his uniform after he died. The seller was excited to learn I was interested in the history of the camera, and she sent me some photos of her relative who had owned it. The photo of him overseas could have been taken with this camera.

This camera was made in Germany but has French language on the focusing ring, perhaps it was picked up in France.

The camera came in this classy 1930s velvet lined leather case.

I disassembled and cleaned the lens, and it’s working again. These photos are from the first roll I shot with this- probably the first time this was used in decades.
